Bungee

You may not have heard of or seen bungee trampolines outside of a theme park, but they’re a popular item at parties these days, and they make for a very exciting “ride” for kids and adults. You’ve probably seen these rides at theme parks and maybe at a large kids’ party or church fun fair, without knowing what they were.

As the name suggests, “bungee trampolines” combine the fun of a trampoline with the excitement of a bungee jump. And they do both safely. A bungee trampoline is a trampoline with poles on two sides. A bungee cord then runs between these two poles, across the middle of the trampoline. To visualize this, imagine a round trampoline, with poles at the widest part, bisecting the circle. Then the bungee cord runs between the poles.

Then the fun starts. The jumper puts on a harness, which is hooked to the harness. This lets you jump around in the middle of the trampoline and do lots of acrobatic flips and twists and jumps that you simply can’t do on a regular trampoline. This is every kid’s, and adult’s, chance to play and jump and be the daring young man on the flying trapeze.

Bungee trampolines are gaining in popularity, but if you’re hoping to rent one for a party, you may have to look around a little bit. One of the best ways to find a bungee trampoline rental is to do a search on Google for the words “bungee trampoline rental” and your area. Some rental companies only rent in their local area, but you may also find a nationwide rental company that can provide a bungee trampoline for your party or event.

Kids will love the bungee trampoline, but thanks to the safety harness, now even the adults who think they’re “too old” or “not coordinated” can strap on a harness and jump on the trampoline. This is the perfect party attraction for any event you’re holding, whether it’ s a community event, a birthday party or a family reunion picnic.

A word of caution is in order, however. There is a safety harness for a reason, so make sure everyone uses common sense, make sure the harness is secure, and don’t let an inebriated person on the bungee trampoline. Understand that there is always risk with something like this, but if everyone is reasonable, this can be the life of your party.
