Bought this set a few weeks ago. Absolutely love them. Retain heat very well. They do not need high heat to cook therefore may say some money by using this! They have similar characteristics to the le cresuet cast iron set but these are easier to use because they are lighter. I would recommend this to anyone. I can't wait to get my hands on the tri-ply frying wok/pan.

I have used a variety of pans over the years, from lightweight Aluminium through Stainless Steel and even the good old heavy Cast Iron.
I have found that these pans over the best of all worlds; they are light enough (although not "light wieght") to use for both my wife and I; they spread and retain the heat superbly, no hotspots for the food to stick and burn on to (even scrambled eggs don't stick horribly); and they come clean beautifully too.
I have only used them on a ceramic hob so I can't comment on their use on Gas though. |
Go for it

When I set up my first home my mother suggested that I buy the very best pans I could find and not worry about the price. She said that the best pans will last a lifetime and the extra cost spread over many years is negligible. I followed her advice and was glad I did. These pans are amongst the very best you can find today. So go for it. You should also get some 200C silicone stirring spoons or spatulas so you don't scratch the interiors with metal spoons. My second piece of advice is to acquire an Induction cooker. You will find that it is simply better than all other forms of kitchen stove.

I was promised delivery in 4 to 6 weeks and the pans arrived in 3weeks. They are excellent quality and look fantastic too. Ideal for Le Creuset fans who are daunted by the weight of their traditional sets.
Awesome!

I was bought these by my father as a present for my new kitchen. Cheers dad, they are the best pans I've ever owned by a country mile. Heavy duty, easy to clean, and they look great too. Can you ask for any more?
